What this group is

From the station records

EvGateway's stations here are spread across California, Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania, and many sit at hotels — including the HondoGO sites in New York, which are a host brand on this platform rather than a network of their own.

The mix is mostly J1772 AC with a small DC fast minority, and a handful reach 150 kW or more, so the record looks like what a hotel or a municipal lot buys rather than what a highway operator builds.

Where they are

The states with the most stations in this group. Each link opens that state's page; the directory keeps this group's filter for a narrower view.

Cities with the most

Where the group clusters. A link opens the city's own guide where one exists, otherwise the directory around that city.

Counts are stations, not plugs. A station can list more than one connector or network, so it can appear in more than one hub. Prices are the networks' own tariffs and can change by time of day. Counts from the directory data of October 2026.

Beyond this directory

The operator, in its own words

EvGateway runs EvGateway. A hardware-agnostic network and white-label platform: it takes chargers a host already owns and runs the software, the apps and the support around them.

EvGateway's business is the network behind someone else's brand: white label, fleet, turnkey, all on one platform, with the host keeping ownership of the hardware. FedRAMP authorisation — the US government's cloud security baseline — is unusual in this market and points at the public-sector work the company does; it names California's community college foundation among its customers.

Which is why a driver in this directory can meet the same network under several names. The platform is EvGateway; the sign is the hotel's.

Everything above is the operator's own account, read October 2026. It is not a count from this directory.

EvGateway: common questions

Coverage, power and price

How many EvGateway charging stations are there?

EVDIR lists 56 public stations operated by EvGateway, across 10 states and 47 cities, with 228 charging stalls. 46 of them are open around the clock.

Who owns or operates EvGateway charging stations?

EvGateway is the company behind EvGateway. A hardware-agnostic network and white-label platform: it takes chargers a host already owns and runs the software, the apps and the support around them. The stations themselves are usually owned by the property they sit on, which is why the price and the opening hours differ from site to site.

Where are EvGateway stations?

The most are in California (15), Connecticut (13), New York (12). EvGateway is one of 21 networks with at least 20 public stations in this directory; the smaller operators are listed on the station records they run.

How much does it cost to charge at EvGateway?

23 of its stations quote a per-kWh price, with a median of $0.40 and 14 at $0.40 or less. The price is set per site, so a station in one city can cost more than the same network in another.

How fast are EvGateway chargers?

40 stations are Level 2 (under 50 kW), 9 are DC fast at 50 kW or more, and 6 reach 150 kW or more. The power on a station page is the peak the record shows, not a guarantee at the plug.
