What this group is

From the station records

EV Connect runs stations for host sites, and the mix reflects that: J1772 at most, but CCS1 at a large minority and a dozen sites at 150 kW or more.

Because the sites are host-owned, the price is set per location, and some sites add a session fee on top of the per-kWh rate.

Cities with the most

Where the group clusters. A link opens the city's own guide where one exists, otherwise the directory around that city.

Counts are stations, not plugs. A station can list more than one connector or network, so it can appear in more than one hub. Prices are the networks' own tariffs and can change by time of day. Counts from the directory data of October 2026.

Beyond this directory

The operator, in its own words

EV Connect, Inc. runs EV Connect. Runs the charging software and services for host sites, on hardware it sells alongside its parent company, Schneider Electric.

EV Connect dates to 2009 and was one of the first companies to sell a charging station management system rather than a charger. The platform is open and OCPP-compatible, which is what lets a site move onto it without replacing its hardware — the company sells exactly that as network migration.

Schneider Electric is its parent, and the two sell hardware together as Charge Pro. EV Connect counts 29,000+ chargers deployed across 5,000+ businesses and 1.4 million drivers on the network, which is a software company's way of counting: the stations belong to the hosts, and the number that matters to a driver is how many of them are within reach of a card or an app.

EV Connect: common questions

Coverage, power and price

How many EV Connect charging stations are there?

EVDIR lists 175 public stations operated by EV Connect, across 16 states and 142 cities, with 581 charging stalls. 94 of them are open around the clock.

Who owns or operates EV Connect charging stations?

EV Connect, Inc. is the company behind EV Connect. Runs the charging software and services for host sites, on hardware it sells alongside its parent company, Schneider Electric. The stations themselves are usually owned by the property they sit on, which is why the price and the opening hours differ from site to site.

Where are EV Connect stations?

The most are in New York (51), California (21), Indiana (18). EV Connect is one of 21 networks with at least 20 public stations in this directory; the smaller operators are listed on the station records they run.

How much does it cost to charge at EV Connect?

135 of its stations quote a per-kWh price, with a median of $0.45 and 59 at $0.40 or less. The price is set per site, so a station in one city can cost more than the same network in another.

How fast are EV Connect chargers?

86 stations are Level 2 (under 50 kW), 78 are DC fast at 50 kW or more, and 12 reach 150 kW or more. The power on a station page is the peak the record shows, not a guarantee at the plug.
