What this group is

From the station records

Level 2 is the ordinary public charger: a J1772 or NACS plug on a wall or a pedestal, adding roughly 10 to 40 miles of range an hour depending on the car and the circuit. It is slower than a road-trip stop needs, and exactly right for a car that is parked for an hour or more.

Most of the directory is in this band. The page lists the stations the record shows below 50 kW; a station that reports no power figure is not counted here, because its speed is unknown rather than known to be slow.

Where they are

The states with the most stations in this group. Each link opens that state's page; the directory keeps this group's filter for a narrower view.

Cities with the most

Where the group clusters. A link opens the city's own guide where one exists, otherwise the directory around that city.

Counts are stations, not plugs. A station can list more than one connector or network, so it can appear in more than one hub. Prices are the networks' own tariffs and can change by time of day. Counts from the directory data of October 2026.
