When Mazda went electric

Mazda's only US battery-electric car was the MX-30, a small crossover with rear-hinged doors and a 35.5 kWh pack. It was sold in California from the autumn of 2021 as a 2022 model and dropped after 2023; Mazda's US electrified line-up since has been hybrids and plug-in hybrids.
