When Cadillac went electric
Cadillac reached electricity through a detour: the ELR coupe of 2014 was a plug-in hybrid, and the battery-electric LYRIQ did not arrive until the 2023 model year. The Optiq, Vistiq, Escalade IQ and the hand-built Celestiq have since joined it on GM's Ultium platform.
