When Acura went electric
Acura's first electric model was the 2024 ZDX, an SUV co-developed with General Motors and built on its Ultium battery system. The ZDX was withdrawn after a single model year, leaving the marque without a battery-electric car in US showrooms while its next EV is developed in-house.
